The creative writing minor is available to all students, regardless of major, who are interested in developing their skills in writing poetry, fiction, drama, television or film scripts, or creative non-fiction. The minor provides aspiring authors an in-depth exploration of creative writing and prepares them for Master of Fine Arts (MFA) study in creative writing. Related careers include novel writing, poetry writing, playwriting, screenwriting, songwriting, creative blogging, editing, publishing, and review writing.
