Position: Communications Specialist I Office/Department: Graduate and Online Programs
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Graduate and Online Programs, this 12-month Communications Specialist position will promote various programs, using social media and print resources, developing faculty training resources, and team with various members of the campus community to achieve the goals of the department.
This position will be responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, and other),and developing digital and print materials to promote the Graduate, Dual Enrollment, and Online programs to current and prospective students. This position will work with a cross-disciplinary team (Registrar, Marketing, Admissions, and other campus contacts) to promote the programs, posting regularly to LinkedIn and social media properties and evaluating the effectiveness of each social media property. Additionally, this position will utilize metrics (incoming applications, Google Analytics, and Instagram Insights, to measure the effectiveness of all endeavors, to provide recommendations, and to make decisions.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a master’s is preferred. Must have one (1) to three (3) years office experience, specifically with production and publication of media, metrics, event planning, and organizational skills.
A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
