Title: Associate Bookstore Manager Office/Department: Bookstore Description: This position is responsible for directly supporting and working closely with the Bookstore Manager in all operational functions of the bookstore, including planning, organizing, and supervising all phases of the College’s bookstore operation. Additionally, this position will provide all campus constituents, including students, staff, faculty, Alumni, administration, and the public with effective, efficient, and courteous service at all times.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience is required. Three (3) to five (5) years of customer service and/or retail experience is required. Must be able to operate computers and POS equipment with accuracy, learn and understand inventory management system, and use all receiving equipment. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 365, with emphasis on Word and Excel. The qualified candidate will possess knowledge of retailing, including pricing, planning, inventory control, loss prevention, displays, and promotions for both brick-and-mortar and online store. A strong, understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
