The Zerbe Health and Wellness Center is home to friendly and qualified health professionals who have chosen to serve the needs of our college students. Nurses are available daily, and doctors and counselors are accessible by appointment at no charge. All information is treated with strict confidentiality in compliance with state and federal laws.
The Center is available for treating illnesses and minor injuries and is staffed by registered nurses during open hours. Students must schedule an appointment to be seen by calling 724-458-3850 or by emailing Mrs. Gordon at gordonzc@gcc.edu. Due to COVID, walk-in appointments are not available.
Physician or nurse practitioner hours are offered by appointment and are provided by AHN/Family Healthcare Partners of Grove City, Pa. In most instances, a same day appointment is available for illness or injury. Please note that the center does not do entrance physicals or routine physicals for employment, study abroad, or camps.
There are no charges for services provided at the center, and a variety of over-the-counter medications and first aid and orthopedic supplies are also available to students free of charge.

Students wishing to be evaluated for illness or injury in the health center by either a nurse or the physician/ practitioner nurse should call the health center at 724-458-3850 for a telephone consultation. An in-person appointment time will be scheduled for you.
In order to reduce exposure, most visits for illness that include complaints with symptoms that may be consistent with COVID will be scheduled with the physician or nurse practitioner. Please call the health center by 2 p.m. so that a same day appointment can be given.
TELEHEALTH VISITS
Students requesting a routine appointment with the physician or nurse practitioner for non-illness or injury may be scheduled for a virtual telehealth appointment slot during our regular physician hours. Examples of appointments eligible for telehealth visits include prescription review and renewal, review of lab results, counseling referrals, requests for routine lab tests, concussion or other follow up, discussion of ongoing non urgent complaints. Please call the health center to discuss whether your visit should be in person or telehealth and an appointment will be scheduled for you. You will be given instructions on how to sign in for your telehealth appointment.
