Meet with a career coach to discuss self-assessment, career options associated with your major, interviewing advice, resume and cover letter assistance, job and internship searching strategies, and professional development.
Self-assessments provide feedback on career options that may be a fit given your personality and interests. The Career Services Office provides students with free access to PathwayU assessments as well as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). Additionally, as a freshman you will have free access to the CliftonStrengths assessment to learn your top five talent themes. Career coaches are available to help you interpret assessment results and connect those results to potential career paths.
The Career Services Office gives students 24/7 access to a wide variety of online career resources through a Resource Library on Handshake. Included in these resources are Big Interview, to aid in their virtual interviewing preparation and skills, PathwayU, to aid in their self-assessment and career exploration, and networking tools to help connect them with Grove City College alumni by geographic location, industry, major, and more.
Additionally, located in the Office of the Career Services Office, our Career Library offers 100+ titles on a variety of career-related topics including:

Meet with a career coach and receive personal advising on internship and job search strategies. Coaches work with you on goal-setting and refining job search skills before teaching you how to pursue opportunities in the advertised and hidden job markets. As part of this process, we provide you with access to web resources to research employers (general and industry-specific). We also use Handshake to connect you to job and internship postings, events, interviews, and resources in addition to CareerShift to help our students in the search process.
Each year, many employers visit campus or virtually recruit our students for full-time jobs and internships through our On-Campus/Online Interview Program, as well as our annual fall Career Fair, information sessions, class visits, and other opportunities. Additionally, students have access to thousands of job/internship postings all across the U.S. and in various sectors through our Handshake platform.
Our CSO staff holds virtual and in-person workshops and presentations for student groups on career-related topics throughout the academic year. We have coordinated numerous events, such as:
