Howard Pew Fine Arts Center’s Ketler Auditorium on campus. This is the final concert of the 2015-16 academic year for the College’s orchestras. The concert will feature a variety of music by American, British and Russians composers, including Rachmaninov’s “Symphonic Dances,” Elgar’s “Chanson de nuit” and “Chanson de matin” and Tchaikovsky’s “Marche Slave.” Tyler Engel ’16, a senior music education major with a concentration in trumpet from Canonsburg, Pa., will be the featured student conductor and will conduct John Williams “Summon the Heroes.” The Grove City College Orchestra is conducted by Dr. Jeffery Tedford ’00 and is comprised of Grove City College students representing all majors. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the concert is free and open to the public. Parking is also free.
