Claudy, who is employed as an associate in Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP’s Assurance and Advisory Services Group, was one of the top 15 scorers out of more than 750 candidates who successfully passed the state exam. Top scorers are those individuals whose combined scores on all four sections of the CPA exam were the highest of all Pennsylvania exam takers last year. Grove City College Department of Accounting graduates do better than 90 percent of their peers when it comes to taking their CPA exams. The College’s accounting graduates ranked 24th in the nation on the 2014 CPA examination among small-sized programs, a category that included a total of 257 institutions. Grove City College graduates’ pass rate was 17 points higher than the national average for all programs. Less than half of those who take the CPA test nationwide pass the exam.
