Grove City College is a college that pays you back, according to Princeton Review.
The College’s focus on delivering top-quality academics at an affordable price earned it a place as one of 200 schools with a national reputation that are included in Princeton Review’s just-published “Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Best Value Colleges and What It Takes to Get In - 2016 Edition.”
Inclusion is based on a “Return-on-Education” (ROE) rating developed by Princeton Review. The test prep, tutoring and college rankings provider used 40 weighted data points – everything from academics, cost, financial aid, and student debt to statistics on graduation rates, alumni salaries and job satisfaction – to determine Grove City College’s 87 ROE rating.
The company relied on data collected in 2013-14 from its surveys of administrators and students at 650 colleges, plus surveys conducted by PayScale.com through April 2014 of alumni of the same schools. Grove City College graduates see an average starting salary of $44,300 and average mid-career pay at $82,800 per year, according to PayScale.
“Princeton Review has recognized what we’ve known for a long time at Grove City College: Our intentional approach to providing a rich academic experience at an amazing value results in graduates ready to succeed in their careers, and, thanks to our commitment to Christian community, live lives of purposeful service. The return on investment in a Grove City College education is measured in more than dollars and cents” College President Paul J. McNulty ’80 said.
Grove City College is also ranked included in Princeton Review’s 2016 “380 Best Colleges” guide to national liberal arts colleges and also listed as a “Best Northeastern College” by the college preparation and testing company.
