Grove City College is presenting the Bi-Annual Student Exhibition from Dec. 3 to Dec. 9 in the gallery of Pew Fine Arts Center on campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The exhibition features artwork from students taking courses offered by the College’s Department of Communications and Visual Arts, including ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and design. The work demonstrates that the creative spirit is alive and well in Grove City College students.
“We have very creative students on campus, many of whom take our courses,” Art Instructor Kathy Rhoades said. “Many have brought skills with them, and many have never had an art course before and have learned a new skill and found new appreciation for art. We are proud of their effort and use this exhibit to showcase their talent and new-found skills.”
An artist’s reception with refreshments will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 3.
Gallery Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 4. The gallery is located in the Pew Fine Arts Center next to Ketler Auditorium.
