After graduating from Grove City College, I worked for the Institute on Religion and Democracy in Washington, D.C. I then went to law school at George Mason University, graduating in 1992. I served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. D. Brooks Smith, United States District for the Western District of Pennsylvania until 1994, and am currently an attorney in private practice with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Pittsburgh, Pa. My practice focuses on business litigation and counseling involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets, higher education, first amendment and media law, copyright and trademark matters, shareholder and partnership disputes, banking, and civil rights. I am also a member of the Grove City College Board of Trustees.
