How does the tuition cost of Grove City College compare to the other schools you looked at during your college selection?
The tuition cost of Grove City College typically was significantly lower than other private institutions and even had lower or comparable tuition to some state schools I looked at.
How has your faith been strengthened and perhaps even challenged during your time here?
My faith has been strengthened immensely through the classes I’ve taken and with my relationships with other Christians. Learning about the Bible has strengthened by faith in a profound way and God has used my academics to grow my love and my desire of Him in ways I could not have previously imagined. Moreover, the biggest challenge for my faith is the constant figuring out of how to take all the biblical truths I have learned and apply it my own life and to various relationships.
How do the academics challenge students to think on a deeper level about the world and life in general?
The academics challenge students to think on a deeper level by focusing on the question of “Why does (insert course topic) matter?” and drawing attention to not just caring about memorizing a bunch dates but instead being able actually evaluate what is going on around you.
What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
For me, it has been a very positive, beneficial relationship. All the professors I’ve had classes with have all been willing to discuss/explain course material or even other topics during their office hours.
What do you find to be the most unique aspect of Grove City College?
The most unique aspect would be that most people who go here if they are not Christian have at least an understanding of Christianity and so you have the ability to talk about deeper spiritual issues from a Christian perspective with a lot of people.
What are some of the things you do during your free time either on or off campus?
To the dismay of my hallmates, I am a big fan of hosting karaoke nights in my dorm room.
