Grove City College’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation welcomes Sam Weber ’14 back to campus as part of the Richard G. Staley ’62 Visionary Entrepreneur Speaker Series at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 6 in Sticht Lecture Hall in the Hall of Arts and Letters.

Weber, founder and CEO of Profile Passer, will present “Stop Talking … Start Doing!” Weber came up with Profile Passer, an app that connects high school soccer players with college recruiters, while she was a senior at Grove City College, where she studied English and played varsity soccer. In 2014, Profile Passer was included on Inc. Magazine’s list of “Coolest College Startups in America.”

The speaker series brings successful entrepreneurs – and the lessons they learned – to Grove City College to share stories of success, experience and advice with students. Staley, a chemical engineering major during his time at Grove City College, pursued his entrepreneurial dream in 1977 when he founded Flavor House, a leading flavoring and extract manufacturer.

The lectures are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Click HERE to register. Lectures are presented in cooperation with The Business Program (Departments of Accounting, Business and Entrepreneurship) at Grove City College.
