About me
I have had the privilege of investing my life in college students for over twenty years as the Director of Career Services and as Associate Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies and Humanities. When I was asked by College leadership in 1994 to re-invent the Career Services philosophy and programs, I knew it was essential to base these programs on a Biblical view of calling and vocation. I’m pleased to say that the vision I set in place has resulted in a nationally recognized office—the Princeton Review has ranked the GCC Career Services Office a total of five times in the top twenty of such offices at colleges and universities across the nation.
In addition to serving the students at Grove City College, my passion for helping college students has led me to write and speak on various topics. I was a contributing author to the book Hire on a WHIM: Four Qualities That Make for Great Employees and an advisor to the author of Getting Hired "Right" Out of College. I have been invited to lecture on various career services subjects at numerous conferences, including the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers. My administrative educational experience encompasses high school and college counseling and coaching, as well as collegiate admissions, student affairs, residence life, career services, and coaching.
It's my prayer that my expertise, experience, and passion will be of service to you, and I’ll be honored to guide you as you begin your journey at Grove City College and seek to discern God’s calling.
