Jeff is a true Renaissance man. Throughout his professional career, he has devoted himself to a wide range of interests and specialties, from coaching college football to starting his own graphics, screen printing, and custom embroidery company. However, his call to counseling came when he volunteered as a guardian ad litem with the juvenile court in his county. There, he realized that his skills were uniquely suited to help individuals and families navigate challenging times in their lives.
Jeff loves working with students who are actively forming their own identities and solidifying their senses of self. He strives to give each student an empathetic, judgment-free environment where they can tell their stories and safely explore the meanings they find in themselves, others, and the world around them. He reminds them that, while the story of the past has gotten them to where they are now, they have the power to write the next line.
Grove City College is an excellent fit for Jeff. He relishes the opportunity to work in an academic setting with the ability to integrate faith into the counseling process. When he’s not busy helping students and staff alike, he enjoys getting his hands dirty outdoors, spending time with family, and recharging through a combination of music, meditation, and contemplative prayer.
