Hilary (Lewis ’09) Walczak graduated from Grove City College with a B.A. in history. She then went on to receive an M.A. in public history from The Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2011. Following graduate school she began to do archival consulting serving small businesses, colleges, and families with archival needs. This led her to Grove City College where she began as a consultant in January of 2012, helping to establish a functional research archive for the first time in Grove City College history.
In 2015 Hilary was officially hired as the college archivist. Hilary was an adjunct professor of history and political science at the Community College of Allegheny County from 2012 until 2015. Hilary has been a judge for National History Day since 2010. She was a panelist at IUP’s 2016 history conference. Hilary is a member of the Society of American Archivists as well as The Mid-Atlantic Regional Archive Conference. She is also the treasurer of the Tri Zeta Sorority Alumni Association and the current Tri-Zeta Sorority advisor at Grove City College.
