What specific courses or specialties do you teach, and/or what has drawn you to those specialties?

My specialties include Supply Chain Management, Global Business, Management/Leadership and Negotiation.   I have spent the entirety of my career in Supply Chain/Business Management roles for companies (Royal Philips, Respironics, Rock-Tenn, PepsiCo) that operate in the Global Marketplace. I have had the opportunity to lead organizations in the US, Europe, Central America and Asia and have always enjoyed the challenge of solving complex, cross-cultural business problems.   It is these experiences that have informed and drawn me towards my specialties.

What is the most important piece of advice you give your students to help them succeed?

Seek out opportunities that force you to apply what you are learning in the class. It is the marriage of knowledge and application that will propel you to realize all of what God has in store for you.

How do you weave this advice into your classroom?

I have been called to serve as a professor at Grove City College to help students learn how to apply classroom content to their chosen vocation. I approach each class with an objective of connecting classroom content with business context.

Selected Publications:

  • Contributing author: “Next Level Supply Management Excellence, Your Straight to the Bottom Line Roadmap”, Rudzki, Trent, J. Ross Publishing, 2011.

Is there any additional personal experience you would like to share?

Several years ago, God began to speak to me about a change in my career. You might say that He systematically “de-feathered my nest.” Ultimately, God called me to aid in training up the next generation of Christian business leaders and that is why I am at Grove City College.
