Students Cristine Miserendino, Hannah Williams, Anne Shirley Dawson, Hannah Shega, Lindsay Hutton, and Julia Roper were inducted during this year’s fall ceremony. Grove City College’s Epsilon Chi chapter seeks to raise awareness and sympathetic understanding of other cultures through special events like the Study Abroad Fair, the International Food Fair, the International Praise and Worship Service, Amigos de México, and Language Tables. Alpha Mu Gamma also offers free tutoring for language students. Alpha Mu Gamma was founded in 1931, and well over 100 charters have been granted to chapters in the United States and Puerto Rico in both public and private universities and colleges. The primary purpose of Alpha Mu Gamma is to honor students for outstanding achievement during their years of advanced foreign-language study in college. To be eligible students must have an accumulated QPA of at least 2.75 and have nine hours of 300-level coursework with six hours of grade A and three more hours of grade A or B in the same language.
