The College was named a Pittsburgh Partner, joining 20 other Pennsylvania colleges and universities that have committed to supporting students who have earned scholarships from the Steel City-based nonprofit, which is dedicated to helping students from Pittsburgh public schools earn a college degree. Grants funded by Grove City College will go toward the cost of books, room and board, which aren’t covered by Pittsburgh Promise scholarships. Pittsburgh Partners pledge to provide $2,000 to $5,000 to each Promise graduate who enrolls at their school. Partners will also provide support services, such as mentoring or orientation, to Promise scholarship recipients.
