Grove City College sociology students won awards for their research work at the Northeast Ohio Undergraduate Sociological Symposium (NEOUSS) at the College of Wooster.
Emma Thomas ’19 earned first place for her research poster "The Socialization of Environmental Views: A Study on How Environmentally Friendly Behaviors Are Formed." The poster presented her study of on how people's views on the environment are shaped first by family and then furthered in their own lives as adults.
