Grove City College’s Department of music welcomes Pittsburgh’s own River City Brass to the Grove City College stage for a special Showcase Series event at 7 p.m. Monday, March 21 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.
River City Brass is a brass band that celebrates American musical culture and has been entertaining, educating, and engaging audiences since 1981. Directed by Dr. James Gourlay, the band performs regionally, nationally, and internationally.

The performance is part of the College’s Showcase Series, which brings creative and cultural offerings to campus each year for student and community enjoyment. Curated by Dr. Jeffrey Tedford ’00, chair of the Department of Music, the series highlights the arts as an integral part of the Grove City College experience.
