Grove City College will host Math Blast 2019 on Saturday, Feb. 16 in the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus.
Math Blast provides fun and active math lessons to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. It is free and open to the public. All of the sessions are taught by Grove City College education students, who volunteer their time to prepare and teach interactive lessons.
More than a dozen different, grade-level classes are offered, with each child participating in two different classes in a hands-on learning environment.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the atrium of the Hall of Arts and letters, with the first session beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the second at 10:30 a.m. There is no preregistration. This program is sponsored by Grove City College's Department of Mathematics.
