Marketing and Communications team wins CUPPIES

Grove City College’s Office of Marketing & Communications won three 2016 CUPPIE Awards at last week’s annual College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP) conference in Hershey, Pa.

The awards recognize excellence in institutional marketing and public relations work. The Grove City College team won a Gold Award in the category of Agency-Produced Viewbooks for “CrimsonView;” a Silver Award in Social Media for “’70s Decade Challenge;” and a Bronze Award in In-House Outdoor Advertising for “Open Your Eyes Billboard.”

Jacki Muller, senior director of Marketing & Communications, said the awards reflect the collective dedication and hard work of the office’s entire staff, which includes Graphic Designer & Art Director Justin Harbaugh; Web Content & Social Media Manager Brad Isles; Senior Editor Nick Hildebrand; and Staff Assistant Mary Lynne Reimold.

More than 380 entries were received this year in 35 categories from colleges, universities and providers of specialized and secondary education in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland and Wisconsin.

CUPRAP is an organization of communications professionals from colleges, universities and independent schools dedicated to advancing the public’s understanding of higher education and the professional development of its members.
