How does the tuition cost of Grove City College compare to the other schools you looked at during your college selection?
A lot of other schools that I considered had very high tuition rates with promises of substantial financial aid, which was not always true. I liked that Grove City College didn’t inflate their price and was very straightforward about the cost. The College definitely gives you a great value for a low price compared to other private colleges. The low price definitely does not equate low quality.

How has your faith been strengthened and perhaps even challenged during your time here?
The Christian atmosphere definitely creates an environment of accountability that I did not have coming from a public high school. This environment also is a daily reminder that education is a wonderful thing, but that our life’s purpose is to glorify God in all that we do. The spiritual environment truly permeates every aspect of Grove City College, which truly teaches a Christian student how to live out their faith in all parts of their life.

How would you describe the level of academics you have experienced during your time at Grove City College?
The academics have been challenging, but not beyond reason. Most of the students here, including myself, are serious about our education and therefore know that the challenge of the academics and the work required to do well are worth it.

What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
Students and professors have a truly cooperative relationship. While still maintaining professional and respected positions, professors care deeply about students’ success. Many of the professors I have had are a resource for me as mentors and advisors. Some professors are known for also supporting their students in their extracurricular activities such as sporting events or fundraisers.

What do you find to be the most unique aspect of Grove City College?
A lot of people I know who attend public universities are only in college to make money and be successful to impress other people. Most of my peers at Grove City College see college as an opportunity to grow in their faith and share it with others and are mainly motivated to have careers that help and serve others.

How would you describe the relationship that the students have with each other on campus?
When I visited the College, all of the students that I met kept telling me that “the people are what make Grove City College so great,” and that is so true. Students become very close friends and even like family, as brothers and sisters in Christ.
