About Me
Once upon a time I was in your shoes: trying to discern where on earth I was meant to be for the next four years after high school graduation. I know the college search can seem daunting, facing many options each with their own specific strengths and requirements; I’ve been there too. Let me assure you, I am here to be your guide on this journey, to get to know you for you, and to help you figure out if Grove City is the best “next step” in the beautifully unique story of your life.

Going into my college search, all I knew was that I wanted to grow academically, spiritually, and socially- and ultimately, my experience at Grove City College completely blew my expectations out of the water. My academic courses led me to discover my passion for understanding and serving others, and as a Psychology major, I learned valuable information every day that helped shape not only my understanding of myself and those around me, but also my knowledge and love for God, as the intelligent Creator who designed mankind uniquely and in His image. Both in the classroom and around the campus, the people surrounding me loved God and sought to know Him better, challenging me to prioritize my faith as the primary driving force affecting all other areas of my life. In addition to challenging me spiritually, my friendships also consistently supported me through life’s ups and downs, and served as a rich resource of encouragement and joy. Across the board, I had more growth in college than I could possibly have anticipated, and emerged from graduation a transformed individual professionally, personally, and spiritually.

My hope for you is that you’ll be able to have the same experience, whether that’s here at Grove City or elsewhere. Finding the best place for your personal growth is an exciting journey, and know that I am honored to be your guide along the way!

Favorite Scripture
“…while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’[c] 22 But the father said to his servants,[d] ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23 And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.” Luke 15:20-24, ESV

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10 NIV

“For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.” Psalm 107:9 ESV

Favorite College Memory
Game nights on the hall, late night Sheetz runs, Greek life formals, spontaneous dance parties, even grabbing a quick breakfast before class – wherever I was and whatever I was doing, I always had a blast hanging out with my friends. For me, “the people make the place,” and the friends I’ve made at Grove City are the best of the best.

Favorite On-Campus Activity
I was involved in a wide range of activities over my time in college – Young Life, Homecoming Committee, orchestra, Greek Life, and more. Some of my favorite experiences included performing in and choreographing for the Orchesis Dance Company my senior year and meeting new friends through sorority rush.
