Grove City College will celebrate its annual Light-Up Night festivities at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 on the patio of the Mary Anderson Pew South Hall on the campus Quad.
To mark the beginning of the Christmas season, the highlight of this family-friendly event is the illumination of the iconic star atop Rockwell Hall of Science, recalling the star of Bethlehem that heralded Christ’s birth.
The community is invited to join students, faculty and staff for a program of seasonal music and entertainment by the Wolverine Marching Band and Koinonia Gospel Team with remarks by Grove City College President Paul J. McNulty ’80, Student Government Association Chaplain Susan Barnes and Interim Chaplain Rev. Dr. D. Dean Weaver ’86. The lighting of the star will follow the traditional reading of the J. M. Lowrie verse “Star in the East.” The event is free and open to the public
