Grove City College’s Theatre Program presents the Hilda Adam Kring Children's Theater production of “Honk!” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4, and 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.
The show is free and open to the public. No tickets are required for attendance.
“Honk!,” a musical based on the story of the ugly duckling, follows Ugly, a swan mistaken for a duckling after falling into his mother’s nest. With the help of his mother, Ida, his father, Drake, and several other barnyard friends, he goes on several adventures that lead him to learn who he really is.
Each spring, the Theatre Program Theatre Program at Grove City College produces a show geared to entertain the region’s children.
Local schools send groups of students to the College during the school day to see special performances and the production is mounted on evenings and weekends for the general public.
