Grove City College faculty are joining the rotation of 101.5 WORD FM with a monthly spotlight on the Ride Home with John and Kathy.
Professors from the Christian liberal arts college will be featured monthly on the broadcast team’s drive time radio show. They’ll talk about their areas of expertise and approach to faith and learning. The outreach ties into the College’s core values of faithfulness and community. Most interviews will air on the first Monday of each month.
First up, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 is Assistant Professor of Exercise Science Andrew DiDonato ’10. As head coach of the Wolverine football team, DiDonato helms the College’s flagship sports program. In the past few years he’s revitalized the team and realized victory. His training mantra of “brick by brick” has becoming a rallying cry for his players and fans of the crimson and white. An alumnus and coach, DiDonato embraces the College’s commitment to an ideal of Christian sportsmanship that truly values “how you played the game.”
Ride Home hosts John Hall and Kathy Emmons offer listeners a combination of culture, theology and humor, plus a vivid mosaic of interviews and conversation between 4 and 6 p.m. each weekday on the Christian talk radio station.
They will be joined on April 6 by H. Collin Messer, professor and chair of the College’s Department of English.
Grove City College President Paul J. McNulty ’80 is a regular guest on the Ride Home with John and Kathy. He visits with the hosts at 5:15 p.m. on the last Friday of every month.
