Courses
To start, I’m very excited to teach MNGT 533 – Law & Ethics for graduate students this fall.  As a Christian, I’m fascinated with the relationship between what the law requires of reasonable people, and the ethical considerations that follow.

What is the most important piece of advice you give your students to help them succeed?
Formulate a weekly study plan for the entire semester well before classes begin.  For grad school, this is incredibly important as you balance other priorities including work and family. Always study the hardest subject first (“the frog”). After you eat your frog, prioritize your other classes, and don’t forget dessert.

Is there any additional personal experience you would like to share?
Be open to the path less traveled in your career. To-date, I have never had to practice law, but found myself in all sorts of interesting research roles at Fortune 500s thanks to my blend of education. It’s an honor and privilege to share some of this experience with students at my alma mater.
