Grove City College’s combined Concert and Touring choirs will present a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Mass in C Major” at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in Harbison Chapel.
The singers will be under the direction of Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities Dr. Katherine Mueller and will be accompanied by College Organist Dr. Bradley Fitch. Beethoven composed the mass in 1807, around the same time as his well-known Fifth Symphony. The work features a solo quartet, which is woven through all but one of the movements.
The concert is free and open to the public. It will be livestreamed at gcc.edu/livestream.
