College Light-up Night heralds the arrival of the Christmas season

Grove City College announces that its annual Light-up Night is set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 on the campus Quad.

President Paul J. McNulty ‘80, Interim Chaplain Dr. D. Dean Weaver ‘86 and the Wolverine Marching band will lead the campus community as it ushers in the Christmas season with the traditional lighting of the star atop Rockwell Hall.

Students and the community are invited to gather at the patio of Mary Anderson Pew (MAP) South residence hall for the ceremonial lighting, which includes refreshments, favorite Christmas hymns and the reading of J. M. Lowrie’s “Star in the East.”

The event is free and open to the public.
