Students and faculty listened with rapt attention as Dr. David Olsen (Merck & Co., West Point, PA) summarized 15 years of work at Merck toward a treatment for hepatitis C viral infections of the liver.
Dr. Olsen emphasized the great risk, and great reward, of the pharmaceutical creation process, giving particular note to the collaboration of many professionals, from a multitude of disciplines, required to bring a drug combination to market. The lecture was held in STEM Hall at Grove City College.
