In honor of Ronald Reagan’s birthday on Feb. 6, The Institute for Faith & Freedom at Grove City College shared an interview with Grove City College Professor of Political Science Paul Kengor, whose work is the basis of the movie “Reagan.”
Kengor’s scholarship on Reagan’s life and political career has yielded at least six books and earned his place as the dean of Reagan scholars. The 2024 film is based on Kengor’s “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and he served as a consultant on the film.
In conversation here with Lighthouse TV host Jeff Coleman, Kengor discusses turning a book into a movie and much more about Reagan’s character and his place in history. Watch it at faithandfreedom.com.
Reagan, who served from 1981 to 1989 as the nation’s 40th president, was born 114 years ago. Grove City College holds a special place for the conservative icon and hosts the Annual Ronald Reagan Lecture to highlight his contributions to America and the world. By learning about Reagan’s life and accomplishments, the next generation of American leaders can see the values of faith and freedom played out on the biggest political stage in the world.
