Grove City College will host Senior Preview Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 for high school students and their families.
Prospective students and families can learn about the academic disciplines, career services, student life and financial aid available at one of America’s top ranked Christian liberal arts and sciences colleges. Visitors will get a real taste of College life at during lunch at one of the campus dining halls and a student’s-eye view from a panel of current STEM, humanities and other majors moderated by Doug Angle ’20.
Angle said the panel will cover “the availability of professors, how it was to first transition in as a freshman and how certain student organizations like Orientation Board help students in those first few weeks and the unique opportunities that STEM majors have when it comes to having the ability to work side by side with their professors in research. Students at larger schools don’t get that opportunity.”
Grove City College offers more than 60 programs of study in the humanities, sciences, engineering and music in a Christ-centered learning and living environment. U.S. News and World Report, The Princeton Review and Forbes identify the College as one of America’s best and its 80 percent four-year graduation rate is nearly twice the national average. The College is committed to affordability and it is the least expensive private college in Pennsylvania. Graduates see higher than average starting salaries and lifetime earnings, according to PayScale.com.
