Self-assessment is critical in the career development process, and our career staff is here to help you explore your interests, needs, passions, and God-given talents.

Self-Assessment Testing

Participate in self-assessment testing to identify your personality, interests, values, and workplace preferences. These assessments are available through PathwayU, a comprehensive tool for career planning, and offered to students and alumni free of charge.

Make an Appointment

Meet with a career coach to discuss your assessment results and explore career options based on your outcomes.

Start a Resume

Begin your first draft of your college resume using our Resume Writing Guide as a reference, and attend a resume writing workshop or meet with a staff member to get assistance.

Attend Career Events

Attend the Freshman & Sophomore Career Program which covers a variety of career-related topics such as career and major exploration, resume and cover letter writing, networking tips, internship search strategies, and interviewing advice.

Plan to attend the fall Career Fair as well as internship programs to begin learning about career opportunities and exploring your options.

Get Involved

Get involved in one or two campus activities or organizations related to your interests. This type of involvement contributes to your career and professional development and provides you with experience you can use on your resume.
