Students can choose from a number of mentoring programs. Those who desire individual spiritual mentorship have the privilege of being paired with a committed Christian mentor from our campus or our local community. Please contact, Carrie Leisher at the Christian Formation Office for more information.
Deeply Rooted, a freshman women’s mentorship program, is designed to help incoming female freshmen and transfer students to adjust to our college community. Incoming students will be paired with upperclassmen mentors who commit to meeting weekly for the fall semester. Our hope is that Deeply Rooted provides a meaningful relationship that will help ease your transition to Grove City College while also forming both you and your mentor spiritually.
Grounded, a freshman men’s mentorship program, is designed to help incoming male freshmen and transfer students adjust to our college community. Incoming students will be paired with upperclassmen mentors who commit to meeting weekly for the fall semester. Our hope is that Grounded provides a meaningful relationship that will help ease your transition to Grove City College while also forming both you and your mentor spiritually.
Women’s Senior Study is designed to provide a time of Bible study and fellowship for senior women as they prepare to graduate. The fall semester serves as a training time for small group leaders from the senior class who will each lead a small group study in the spring.
Small Group Bible Studies offer students a chance to dive deeper into a study of a biblical book or theme, and be part of a community of prayer and reflection. Several small group Bible studies are available at Grove City College. Please contact the Christian Formation Office for more information.
Students are invited to participate in chapel by joining a music team that enables our community to sing and pray with approachable styles and excellent artistry. Student applications and auditions are held each October. We believe that worship leaders must not only be excellent artists, but mature Christ-following disciples. The chapel worship ministry also seeks to build a sincere community of faith that forms leaders to follow God’s call into ministry on campus and beyond.
