Whether majoring in music, mechanical engineering, or education, students at Grove City College are encouraged to use their God-given talents to glorify Christ. The following organizations provide students possessing musical gifts and passions an opportunity for leadership, personal growth, and social interaction while working to produce beautiful music together.

The Wolverine Marching Band performs in the stands and at halftime at every home football game, and is historically among the largest division III marching bands in America. The marching band welcomes instrumentalists, marquettes, flagline, twirlers, and more. Members may receive one credit per semester.
Pep Band is a fairly new group that you can find performing at all home basketball games. They provide entertainment through stands tunes (pop music arrangements and cheers). Joining is a great way to make music in a fun, exciting, and laid-back setting.
Jazz Ensemble is the top jazz group on campus and performs concerts on and off campus several times a year, including the All-Campus Big Band Dance. They perform music ranging from the big band era through contemporary jazz literature, and frequently record studio albums.
Stage Band is a training group that also performs big band standards as well as show pieces and performs several concerts each year. It is a great place for instrumentalists who have played before but have less experience with jazz to gain some experience.
Concert Band is the largest concert wind band on campus, they perform the classics of wind band music, pops, and new compositions. The band has worked recently with notable composers such as Robert W. Smith, James Swearingen, and Patrick Burns. Members may receive one credit per semester.
Wind Ensemble is the select wind band on campus. They perform literature of the highest caliber in the wind band repertoire and frequently premiere new works.
Concert Choir is the largest choral ensemble on campus. They generally perform a major work each year as well as concerts around Christmas and Easter. Members may receive one credit per semester.
Touring Choir is one of Grove City College’s best-known musical groups. This 45-voice choir is a year-long commitment as members prepare for annual spring tour starting in the fall. The group has collaborated with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on several occasions, and recent tours have taken the group to New York City, Philadephia, Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, Baltimore, Detroit, and more.
Chamber Singers is a 12-voice choir selected from with the Touring Choir. They perform a selection of a cappella works on tour and in concerts.
The Grove City College Singers are a treble choir that sings both sacred and secular works. They perform concerts on and off campus each semester.
Symphonic Orchestra is a Romantic era size orchestra with full strings, winds, and percussion that plays a wide variety of literature from full symphonic works to pops and new music. Members may receive one credit per semester.
Chamber Orchestra is a smaller group that plays in all orchestra concerts as well as the large Musical Christmas concert and frequently records studio albums. String quartets, trios, and similar groups form out of this group.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
The Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Assocation student chapter is comprised of students interested in the teaching of music and the promotion of music education as a profession. The organization provides a forum for students to engage in professional activities and discussions with educators relative to music education. Membership is open to music majors and anyone interested in the promotion of the music field.
