STEM Hall, the College’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics building, opened in August 2013. The $39.5 million facility established Grove City College as a premier liberal arts and sciences college in the region.
Aware of our responsibility to exercise wise stewardship of resources, STEM Hall was designed with a number of energy-efficient features including ventilation, rooms that respond to user demand and occupancy, and windows that darken in direct sunlight.
STEM Hall features classrooms and laboratories with best in class equipment to accommodate chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science classes. The building is designed to cultivate innovation and collaboration with common areas and study spaces for student use. Writing on the walls in encouraged in this building due to the generous use of whiteboard wallpaper. STEM Hall houses the 110-seat Earl C. Gregg lecture hall, faculty offices, and a vivarium.
