Inter-Community Outreach (ICO) trips are a unique opportunity for Grove City College students to travel to large cities throughout the United States, and world wide, to minister to others and share the Gospel. About 20 trips are offered annually, with almost half traveling to international destinations. ICOs are student-initiated and student-led, and Grove City College provides training and resources for the leaders of each approved trip.
In the field of medicine you learn to take on new challenges each day with each new patient. At Grove City College, we believe that hands-on experience with patients from other cultures and other countries is an important component to preparing future medical professionals.
Students who participate in medical missions minister to bodies and souls as they complete a two-week medical internship in an international clinic. The opportunity provides students with an expanded knowledge of the world and a heightened sensitivity to issues of culture and ethics in medicine. Visit the Office of Global Programs in person for more information.
Red Box GO is a competitive program that allows students with a passion for service to experience summer-long, individual missions trips to a location of their choosing. Students accepted into the program as Red Box awardees spend a summer with the selected organization. The College hosts preparation and seminars for participants and fund most travel expenses.
