Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Grove City College offers students a range of opportunities to conduct meaningful, relevant research alongside experienced, published faculty.

Students conduct supervised research during sophomore, junior, or senior years and have access to laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and computer workstations for machine design, thermal/fluid systems, instrumentation, and mechanical systems as well as a fully equipped machine shop with CNC equipment.

Biomimetics
Nondestructive Testing
Human Powered Vehicles
Biomechanics
Chemical Physics

Research is also being done in conjunction with the Department of Physics on computational physics.
