By obtaining a finance degree through our four-year, ACBSP-accredited program, you will develop the knowledge and tools you need to excel on the investments, series, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams and become an ethical and effective leader in the business world.   • ACBSP accreditation – Ensures industry-standard quality of curriculum and program objectives.
  • CFA Institute affiliation – Widely considered the investment profession’s most rigorous credentialing program, this affiliation reflects the strength of Grove City College’s finance curriculum. The Institute’s CFA Program sets a standard for developing the skills, standards, competence, and integrity of financial analysts, portfolio managers, investment advisers, and other investment professionals worldwide. By incorporating into the curriculum at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge, our program prepares students for the Level I examination of Chartered Financial Analyst, the industry’s “gold standard.” Students are also eligible for CFA Program Student Scholarships.
  • Business Advisory Group – A group of accomplished alumni and friends of the College who are eager to connect students with job opportunities and keep our program up to date on the latest industry developments, hiring practices, required skills, and technology trends to best prepare students for success.

Program Specifics
  • Course requirements – 72 credit hours of rigorous undergraduate coursework balancing breadth and depth to give you a solid foundation in finance with freedom and guidance to find your passion — whether you feel called to corporate finance, investment management, financial planning, banking, insurance, or another branch of the financial sector.   • Career-advancing option – Double major by adding a B.S. in Accounting to your finance degree.
    • If you are considering becoming a certified public accountant, this double major provides an excellent opportunity to obtain the 150 credit hours required for CPA licensure.
