Extracurricular activities are an essential part of the Department of English at Grove City College. In addition to the theatre program, students can enhance their education through participation in a variety of activities such as the Lambda Iota Tau, a literary honorary which sponsors poetry readings and other literary events, and the Tau Alpha Pi, a theatre honor society which coordinates a student-directed one-act play festival each semester.
