Do you want to inspire middle school students through math, English, history, or general science? At Grove City College, you can earn a middle school teaching degree with certification in up to two subject areas and be ready to make a lasting impact on young adolescents, helping them prepare for the challenges of high school and the teen years. Your time at Grove City will be marked by rigorous academics, hands-on classroom experiences, advanced career counseling, and outstanding faculty who will point you to Christ as the master teacher.

Perhaps you have a heart for students at both the elementary and middle school level. Unique to Grove City College is the ability for you, as a middle school education major, to pair this degree with an additional major and certification in elementary education. By choosing this option, you can graduate with three certifications in just four years and be equipped to teach wherever you are called.

  • Unique advisement model – Two faculty members advise your class cohort throughout your four years in the program and offer regular guidance during your first critical year working in the field. This results in faculty knowing students as individuals, developing them as professionals, and cultivating them into a strong peer support group which continues after graduation.
  • Hamilton Curriculum Library – Provides you access to a wealth of education materials and expert guidance. Curated by a certified teacher in our program, this hub for education majors serves as an ideal space to collaborate with fellow students and work on lesson planning.
