Grove City College offers a sociology major that will prepare you to apply big-picture principles to the realms of public policy, criminal justice, research, and more. Sociology is a foundational social science built upon the study of human interaction to analyze patterns in human behavior and develop practical solutions to real-world problems. In our four-year program you will deepen your understanding of human nature and cultivate cultural awareness from a Christian perspective. You will also build a transferrable toolkit of critical thinking, research, writing, and presentation skills that will set you apart in the working world, as well as a strong ethic of care to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
