The Department of Accounting and Finance offers a double major in accounting and business analysis so you can accelerate your pursuit of licensure as a Certified Public Accountant by completing the 150 credit hours required.
Through this double major you will build a strong foundation in accounting skills and develop the in-demand technical and analytical business skills that national public and corporate accounting firms look for in employees. In addition, the combination of accounting and business analysis will prepare you well for the CPA exam or CMA exam, both of which will test your understanding of data analytics. Whether you hope to pursue a career in public or corporate accounting, this double major will prepare you to analyze data and processes as an external or internal auditor or corporate employee.
This program is designed to be completed in four years through accelerated study and coursework completed during intersession, winter, and summer offerings. You may find this program particularly appealing if you are entering Grove City College credit with AP credits or other college credits.
