Program Specifics
  • Each concentration lays a solid foundation in Scripture and includes courses designed to equip you for your specific calling. For detailed course descriptions and required credit hours, view the College Catalog.
    • Core requirements include Scripture, Text, and Canon, Christian Doctrine, Interpreting the Bible, and Spiritual Formation.

    • You may also add a concentration  in biblical exegesis, biblical studies, pastoral and theological studies, global Christianity, or Christian ministry. Any one of these concentrations may be easily added to your biblical & theological studies major and will place you ahead of your peers in graduate school.
  • Flexibility – You can double major or take courses in the liberal arts and sciences such as biology, communication studies, history, philosophy, psychology, and more.
    • As you map out your four-year plan, faculty advisors and career services office staff will always be available to assist you in selecting courses that align with your long-term goals.
  • Departmental minors – Become even more marketable with minors in Christian ministries, youth ministry, classical studies, and classical Christian education, as well as various others.
