A Solid Grounding for Law School

Grove City College has sent students to top 15 law schools including the University of Virginia, Harvard University and Columbia University.

Students from any major may minor in pre-law; however, the majority are political science, economics, history, and philosophy majors. The 18-credit minor focuses on important skills related to law school such as clear writing, analytical thinking, and detailed reading and includes courses in logic, ethics, and constitutional law.
 

The pre-law program is more than a simple selection of courses. Grove City College offers students the opportunity to be placed in a winter legal internship. The program also organizes on-campus speakers, including law school admissions deans and alumni currently practicing law, and provides students the opportunity to run a peer-reviewed law journal.

Our pre-law minor prepares students not just for the LSAT but also for success in law school and the legal profession.

 

Vision Statement

Our goal is to help students pursue their calling in life. We work personally with students to assist them in deciding if law school is the right choice for them, and if it is, we help them get into the law school that is best for them.

The average LSAT score of our recent grads is 160, which is in the 75th percentile nationally, placing us between UVA and Emory.
