Title: Technology Generalist

Description: The Technology Generalist position provides initial tier 2 technical support for the students and employees of Grove City College. In addition to Tablet PC repairs and software issue resolution, this support includes diagnosis and resolution of issues for various types of classrooms, office & educational technology. This position involves direct communication with students and employees.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a technology-related major; equivalent experience in a technology-intensive field may be considered. A minimum equivalent of six months’ full-time experience in a technology support position and at least two years’ experience with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (including experience with the current release of each) is required. HP Hardware Repair and Microsoft Office certifications are required but may be obtained during employment. Additional certifications may be required based on duties assigned. A successful candidate must be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact on a professional basis with a wide range of constituents. The candidate should be able to lift and carry 25lbs and work in confined storage spaces. Must be able to type 30 words per minute.
