Title: Staff Assistant – Counseling Center Department/Office: Counseling Center Description: The Counseling Services Staff Assistant is a 10-month position reporting to the Director of Counseling Services. This position is responsible for supporting the functions of the Counseling Center by managing intake paperwork and student files, maintaining the main phone line and email address of the Counseling Center, scheduling student appointments, overseeing the reception and waiting areas, and maintaining office supply stocks. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma. Administrative assistant-related courses and/or associate degree in business are preferred. Requires two (2) years of office support/administrative assistant experience, preferably in a mental health and/or clinical environment. The qualified candidate must possess a working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office, have the ability to organize, coordinate and complete multiple tasks, and have the ability to read, analyze and proofread letters and documents. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
