Position: Male Resident Director

Description: This 10-month full-time, live-in position reports directly to the Director of Residence Life and is primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining a living-learning environment that fosters intellectual, interpersonal, physical, civic, and spiritual development within assigned residence hall. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. A master’s degree in a related field and one to two years’ experience working in residence life or related experience preferred. Qualified candidates should have a clearly stated philosophy of higher education and spiritual formation, and the ability to articulate how that philosophy influences one’s work within the residential setting, display strong interpersonal and confrontational skills and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate commitment, vision, and ability to mentor and disciple college students and train student leaders. Candidates should possess evidence of sound administrative skills and the ability to coordinate and manage both people and tasks. Candidates should also have a team-player mentality and be flexible. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
