Grove City College’s Office of Marketing and Office of Communications are focused on promoting the vision, mission, and values of the institution to prospective and current students, parents, alumni and friends, donors, the media, thought leaders, and the public.
As the primary media contact for local, regional, and national print, broadcast, and digital media outlet, the department provides oversight and direction to external communications needs, including digital and traditional advertising, public relations, marketing, and publications.The marketing and communications teams actively seek out, research, and communicate the achievements students, and the accomplishments of faculty, alumni, and employees in the media and across all institutional communications channels. The Office of Marketing and Office of Communications manage content for the website, social media channels, traditional media, College publications including The GeDUNK alumni magazine, marketing materials, advertising, news releases and media inquiries, internal communications, and other promotional material needs. The offices also oversees The Collegian student newspaper. View publications.
Grove City College welcomes the public and the news media to campus. Media representatives arriving on campus must secure advance permission from the Office of Communications before arriving on campus to photograph, film, or interview students, faculty, or administrators. The Office of Communications provides escort accommodation to media while on campus.
While it is the Office of Communications’ policy is to be as helpful as possible to those seeking access to our campus, faculty, students, or administration, it is important to note that in some circumstances access may be limited if it poses a challenge to the campus community in their ability to carry out duties and activities – particularly in the event of an emergency. There is reasonable expectation of ensuring the privacy of our campus community at all times.

For on campus clients, the Office of Marketing and Office of Communications offer news release generation and distribution, photography services, editing and graphic design services, and media relations outreach services (at least five days advance notice is required).
